cinBetween Monday 14th November and Friday 18th November Richie Anderson (one of the presenters of BBC Midlands Children in Need on BBC One) is doing a 250 mile tandem bike round around the Midlands.  He will be doing the whole 250 miles with different celebrities doing each leg.  They will be doing 50 miles a day and will be pushing themselves to the limit (in what may be awful weather!) so they are hoping to receive as much support as possible.

On Friday 18th November – which will be the final leg and at least 200 plus miles in – they will ride through Hampton-in-Arden.  They are hoping to pass through at approximately 12.15pm to 12.45pm (lunchtime) and will ride past the The White Lion pub.  They would love to see a crowd on the path outside the pub!  Please come and show your support by lining the streets as they cycle past.

The bike will be led by a security marshal and trailed by a Children in Need van with a beacon on.  There will be a camera crew and Pudsey himself will be there and he will stop for selfies!  There will also have bucket collectors who would love to get as many pennies as possible (please DO NOT throw money at the riders, wait for a bucket collector to approach you).

It would be lovely to see a huge home crowd so feel free to spread the word and help them smash last years £37million raised by Children in Need.
