🚶♂️ Great news for walkers! 🚶♀️
Footpaths M122 and M123 between Hampton and Catherine de Barnes are now OPEN!
The new bridge over the A4545 now links the two paths at their crossing. Please note: no waymarkers are on the bridge yet, so be sure to check the map for guidance.
🌿 Suggested 3-mile Figure-of-Eight Walk (while Solihull Road remains closed):
Start at E – The Boat
➡ Walk to C via Bickenhill Lane and Catherine de Barnes Lane
➡ Head to A via the new path to the bridge, then across wet fields and up a steepish bank to the step ladder and Shadowbrook Lane
➡ Walk along Shadowbrook Lane to B — stick to the right-hand side for safety at the sharp bend
➡ Continue to the farm at D (tarmac and field paths, large gates, and two good stiles)
➡ Finish by walking along the closed Solihull Road back to E – The Boat
