We’re writing to give you an update on the construction of the new M42 junction 5a. Work to build new slip roads will be starting in March and we’re planning to demolish the old Solihull Road bridge in May. These activities will allow us to continue our work on the new A4545 link road between Clock Interchange and this new junction, part of our upgrade scheme on the M42 at junction 6.

We’re doing our utmost to reduce the impact of our work on the travelling public and local residents and businesses.

Part of this is to ensure that people are kept informed by our work and any road closures.

Please find attached information regarding some upcoming work on the M42.
